Here - as much as possible

First off, it has been way too long since I wrote, and it does not seem like it but the calendar dates don't lie. This is about to change, as I love to share what I learn, and the lessons are coming faster than ever...

One of the key things that I've realized in the recent past is that the most natural ...seems so difficult. We are all present, yet not 'here'. I eat when I watch TV, and don't even know that the food is gone till I reach for another bite and the plate is empty. I speak on the phone and drive (this has changed in the recent past). I listen to music while talking to friends, and on...and on. This is the case with the most of us. Our minds jump to anything and everything except the one place that is essential....'here'. Our lives are unfolding 'here and now' while that is the one place that the mind avoids...

It is said that the best paintings are painted one is here...that best music is composed when one is here...that best response automatically arises when one is here - simply present. This is my lesson...to be here. Here- as much as possible.

Quick Intro...

"The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak." - Hans Hoffman.

This quote explains the title of this blog. In stillness is presence that is beautiful in every sense.
In presence is the deep peace and serenity that we all crave for at some point. Since this blog is regarding presence and stillness, I plan to keep it simple.

In this blog, I aim to present topics and information that are not considered main-stream yet. At the same time, my aim is to share information that has benefits beyond the tangible.

My only hope is that you enjoy this information as much as I have. So sit back, take a deep breath, open your mind and let go of the noise just for a few...this is being simply  present.
